You're at the center of Skhert (and I didn't see it at first)

Without question, Skhert inspires women to feel good, look great and have more style expression in their leggings. So, naturally, the brand is about offering value to you. That will always be our endeavor.

Initially, the name of this brand was "Skhirt." It was my attempt to combine into one word the names of the two items -- shirts and skirts, primarily -- that inspired the garment we have today. So, I purchased the "Skhirt" domain. A week or so later, I thought to add an "s" at the end and capture that domain too, but the price had "jumped" (mysteriously... hmm) from $23.99 to over $600. I started praying, asked the Lord for help, and He impressed upon my spirit to change the "I" to an "E."

I didn't want to change the "I" to an "E" because my combined skirt/shirt name seemed perfect (you know how we think we always know...). Then, the revelation came: When you replace the "I" with an "E" what's at the center? "Her!" I beamed and laughed as I often do when I'm reminded that He always makes a way.... always makes it better than what we'd planned.

So, to every woman that wears a Skhert or shares our brand with another woman, thank you. You're literally at the center of our brand. Prayerfully, in the coming months and years, we'll discover together what that looks like. I know it's genuine. This work is for all of us.
